Location: River Road (off 8th St), or 8th Avenue at the road bridge crossing the river

Park opening hours: 7am - 11pm

Riverside is a favourite setting for couples who wish to get married outdoors. With spectacular views of the Bow River and the moutains it is a unique and beautiful place to tie the knot.

The park is also very popular for picnics and general gatherings, and even a weekly outdoor yoga session during the summer.

Visit Riverside Park any day during the summer and you will find people relaxing, playing, reading, catching some rays, or simply chilling out in their lunchtime on the grass with the Bow River swiftly flowing by.

The river path system leads to other green spaces in town, and with the park close to the downtown area and all it's amenities it makes a great place for a quick getaway any day of the week.
