Centennial Park
Location: Intersection of 6th Street at 6th Avenue (behind Lawrence Grassi School)
Park opening hours: 7am - 11pm
Every year thousands of people flock to Centennial Park in Canmore for outdoor events including: Canada Day celebrations, Canmore Folk Festival, Canmore Highland Games, Canmore Jazz Festival, Cause Canada Half Marathon, Relay For Life, Terry Fox Run, Shakespeare in the Mountains, and many more events, sports clubs/practices, or for simply lying back and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere surrounded by stunning views of the mountains on all sides.
Centennial Park has the following amenities:
- Stan Rogers concert stage
- Non-regulation size multi-use soccer, rugby, football field with players benches (80m X 50m) "B" Classification
- Running track
- Washrooms
- Benches and picnic tables
- Playground (18mths-12yrs)
- Automated irrigation system
- Electrical service
Stan Rogers concert stage
The Stan Rogers stage is the only outdoor stage and concert venue in Canmore, and as such it is assured of constant use throughout the concert and outdoor events season.
With its mountain themed design and excellent acoustic qualities the Stan Rogers stage is host to events in the town such as the Canmore Folk and Jazz Festivals, and varied theatre productions.
Set in the park and surrounded by mature trees there is no more pleasant venue to enjoy music or theatre while sitting and enjoying the atmosphere or a picnic.
The Stage can be rented year round from 7am–11pm.

Centennial Field
Centennial Field is available for rent for various activities including soccer, ultimate, football and rugby.

Centennial Field opening hours:
- Please note that although the park may be open Centennial Field may be closed due to adverse weather conditions (frost, ice, snow, rain)
