Canmore Canada Day Parade

Canmore's Canada Day Parade is an event not to be missed. Performers and floats come from all over Alberta to entertain the crowds of cheering people lining the streets, proudly sporting their Canadian flags, banners and red clothing.

The Canmore Canada Day Parade also doubles up as a warm up for the Calgary Stampede Parade a few days later. So you also get the opportunity to see the Calgary Stampede Marching Band, Stampede floats, and the Calgary Stampede Queen and Princesses, all parading the streets of Canmore.

Normally starting at noon, come rain or shine, the Parade makes its way through town providing at least an hour long spectacle for the cheering crowds. Bring your chair, set it out early, then turn up to see the Parade in comfort... and your chair will still be there!
